Great North Country Festival ... Thanks!

Thanks to John Tallon and the organisers of The Great North Country Festival. We had a great time at your festival and enjoyed playing for the Country crowd. Jim was a bit unsure how we would be received, doing all our own songs, but we were happy with the response from the crowd. Jim says
great to see so many faces from the past .... Johnny Ringo, Keith Render et al.
Great PA company also, nice to see some young guys getting in on the act. It is heartwarming to sing our songs to a country crowd and get a positive response. Thanks again. Jim, Danny, Chris and Duncan.

Moorsholm Live ... Thanks!

Thanks.... To the organisers and audience of "Moorsholm Live". We had a ball at your gig....great night for us...lovely audience, supportive comments and well looked after by the team. The North needs gigs like this! Spread the word! Dan, Jim, Chris and Duncan.

Gig Review in Maverick Magazine

The May 2009 issue of Maverick Country Music Magazine contains a great review of one of our recent gigs. We thank them and John Brindle for that. The magazine can be bought at HMV and major stationers .... it rolls on!! (25/04/2009)

Diesel Therapy Photoshoot

Diesel Therapy spent Sunday afternoon in the company of photographer Martin Fitzpatrick and his partner Louise. We landed at Low Newton for a photoshoot on a busy beach in cool but beautiful weather. In no time we bumped into Christine and Hannah from "The Ship", our favourite gig in Northumberland, together with five week old Oliver, the latest addition to their family. In typical Ship fashion, Christine took our sandwich order straight to the top! or should we say The Kitchen. The photo session was a total hoot which proves the point; go to Low Newton, strange forces are at work there! Testament to the Low Newton beach fraternity has to be the fact that no one showed any interest as we carried a settee onto the shore ..........Cool! Only one Person cracked, sending her young son to ask what we were doing. we told him where to go.........

jimhornsbyguitars.com

Jim has a new website dedicated to his career in music and lifelong 'search for the smirk'. This promises to be a much more personal site than the Diesel Therapy band site. Move it on over to jimhornsbyguitars to read extracts from his autobiography 'Life In the Bus Lane' and much, much more ...
