Diesel Therapy spent Sunday afternoon in the company of photographer Martin Fitzpatrick and his partner Louise. We landed at Low Newton for a photoshoot on a busy beach in cool but beautiful weather. In no time we bumped into Christine and Hannah from “The Ship”, our favourite gig in Northumberland, together with five week old Oliver, the latest addition to their family. In typical Ship fashion, Christine took our sandwich order straight to the top! or should we say The Kitchen. The photo session was a total hoot which proves the point; go to Low Newton, strange forces are at work there! Testament to the Low Newton beach fraternity has to be the fact that no one showed any interest as we carried a settee onto the shore ……….Cool! Only one Person cracked, sending her young son to ask what we were doing. we told him where to go………

Jim has finished work on Andrea Pattison’s c.d. “Stormys Daughter”. One of Jim and Danny’s songs “I’ve Found A Way” is included along with a new song “Watching Over Me” that Jim has written for Andrea. The rest of the material is a collaboration between Jim, Andrea and Richard Rutherford.

After recording 8 tracks we have decided to stop work on our second c.d.. We are just not happy with it! An expensive decision, which in no way reflects on the quality of the songs or the studio. As they say in the city, we allowed ourselves to take our eyes off the ball.
