Jim has finished work on Andrea Pattison’s c.d. “Stormys Daughter”. One of Jim and Danny’s songs “I’ve Found A Way” is included along with a new song “Watching Over Me” that Jim has written for Andrea. The rest of the material is a collaboration between Jim, Andrea and Richard Rutherford.
After recording 8 tracks we have decided to stop work on our second c.d.. We are just not happy with it! An expensive decision, which in no way reflects on the quality of the songs or the studio. As they say in the city, we allowed ourselves to take our eyes off the ball.
2009 has started well for Diesel Therapy! Duncan Tyler has agreed to become our regular drummer. We offered Duncan the gig after a very productive day rehearsing with him at “The Garage” rehearsal rooms in Byker.
Duncan has played with Mike Waller and Morgan Le Fay among others. Jim, Dan & Chris would like to welcome him to the band and hope he has as much fun as we do.
Diesel Therapy would like to thank Graham Hare (drums) from the Aaron Bayley band for helping us through a difficult period in 2008. Graham stood in at short notice and did a great job both on the gigs and in the studio. Thanks again Graham.
